How a ticket works

For the user

The user presses a button in the panel and answers your questions, if you have any. Then a private channel is created that only the user and your staff can see.

When the ticket is closed, the user can get a copy of the conversation in a private message and give a rating from 1 to 5 stars.

For staff

Claim shows who has taken the ticket. The 🛠️ Staff button opens a menu that only staff can see: move to another category, send a quick reply, set priority and tags, add a user, summon the user or ask "Is it solved?".

Most of this can also be done with the /ticket command and from the Tickets tab on the dashboard.

When a ticket is closed and deleted

A closed ticket can be reopened. When it is deleted, the channel disappears on Discord and the conversation is saved as a transcript: a page with the whole conversation, including the images. You find the transcript under Tickets on the dashboard and in your transcript channel.

Setup

Do I have to log in with Discord?

No. Write /dashboard on your server and you get a personal link that opens the dashboard directly. You can also log in with Discord on the website if you prefer. We never get your password, and we cannot write or read messages as you.

Which permissions does the bot need, and why?

The bot asks for what it needs for tickets: view channels, manage channels and their permissions (to create private ticket channels), send and manage messages, embed links, attach files, read message history (for transcripts), add reactions, use external emojis, mention roles (to ping staff) and change its own nickname.

It does not ask for Administrator.

The button does not work, or the bot does not reply. What do I do?

Open Overview on the dashboard and look at the "Check setup" box. It looks for the typical mistakes by itself: a missing permission, a category that is full or deleted, a role that is above the bot's own, or a panel that is gone. Each item has a button that takes you to where it is fixed.

If the bot is gone entirely, see the service status.

Who can see a ticket?

The user who opened it, the staff roles you have chosen under Settings, and people with "Manage Server". A category can have its own staff roles, e.g. so only admins see unban appeals.

Can others than me use the dashboard?

Yes. Under Settings you choose which roles have access and what each role may do: e.g. only see tickets, or also change the setup. Only people with "Manage Server" can buy Premium and change who has access.

What are tags, and can the user see them?

Tags are your own labels on tickets, e.g. Bug, Payment or Complaint. Staff set them in the staff menu or on the dashboard, and under Tickets you can filter on them and see what people most often write about. The user never sees them: they appear neither in the ticket nor in the transcript.

Can I move the setup to another server, or go back to an earlier one?

Yes. Under Settings → Save and load setup you can download settings, categories, quick replies and tags as a file and load it on another server. Roles and channels are found again by name.

In the same place Ticket System keeps a copy by itself before the setup is changed, so you can go back with one click if something was broken.

Which languages is the bot available in?

Danish and English. You choose the language for your server under Settings, and everything the bot has already sent changes with it. The website and the dashboard follow the visitor's own language.

Premium and payment

What is free, and what does Premium cost?

The Free plan has the basics for a smaller server and can be used for as long as you like. Premium gives, among other things, unlimited categories and panels, custom questions, automation, opening hours and staff statistics. The price and the full comparison are on the front page under Pricing.

How do the 14 free days work?

New servers get Premium free for 14 days, with no card. Afterwards the server continues on Free by itself, and nothing is deleted. The trial is given once per server, and an owner can get it on one server every six months. If the server is less than 7 days old, or the owner's Discord account less than 30 days, the trial starts by itself when it is old enough.

How do I cancel Premium?

Go to Subscription on the dashboard and press "Manage subscription". There you can cancel, change card and see receipts. Premium is valid for the rest of the period you have paid for.

Nothing is deleted when Premium stops. The Premium features are paused and are there again if you upgrade later.

Does Premium cover all my servers?

No, Premium is bought for one server at a time. If you have several servers, each can have its own plan.

Your data

What do you store?

The server's setup, information about your tickets and the transcripts the bot makes. We do not sell data and do not show ads. It is all in the privacy policy.

What happens if I remove the bot?

The server's data is kept for 90 days, so everything is there if you add the bot again. After that it is deleted automatically. If you want it deleted right away, write to us.

Can I remove old tickets and transcripts?

Yes. Under Tickets on the dashboard, deleted tickets can be removed entirely from the history, together with their transcript and images. It cannot be undone.
